Help Required to Import directories in excel

Hi,
I need help in importing a directory name into excel. More specifically,
just like GetOpenFileName opens up a window where one can choose files to
open, I need to do the same but only list directories and not files. When I
click on a directory, that directory name should be returned as a
string/variant for further use.

I hope i have made my problem statement clear. if someone could help me with
this, I will be very thankful.

You could let the user pick the folder:

If you and all your users are running xl2002+, take a look at VBA's help for:
application.filedialog(msoFileDialogFolderPicker)
