Help! Save Online feature greyed out.

I have taken an MSP 2003 Professional plan and saved as file. I have amended
the plan at home and I now want to load this back in however the Save Online
Option is greyed out.

I have gone through the previous posts, and tried opening this within the
PWA and exiting but this has had no affect, I've also tried logging in as
Admin.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

If really did "save as file", you did not save "offline"; that is a
separate and distinctly different operation. Be sure the "File" menu option
is fully expanded, and you will see "Save offline".

You will have to reopen the project from the server, then save offline in
order to carry it offsite. While offsite, you select the same server account
in Professional, but click on "Work offline". When you click on "Open ...",
you will see only offline projects you have on the portable. People looking
at the server list will see your project(s) as "checked out, offline".

The next time you get to your internal network, connect normally, open the
checked-out project, and then expand "File" menu to find "Save online"
enabled. Click on it, and your project will be restored to the server.

Hope this helps ...

If you still need to bring the project you saved as a file back onto the
server, open the file in Project, then do a File, Save As. Give it a name,
fill in the required fields, and you're set--it will be saved on the server.
You'll have to convert the resources back to enterprise resources & apply the
enterprise calendar (it will prompt you to do both of these). If you're using
managed timesheets, all protected actuals will have been converted to actual
work & won't be viewable in PWA.
