Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Email Client: Exchange

I have just converted my office to MacAir and IMac, and spent £420 on MS OfficeMac 08. Am trying to set up my email account but failing miserably...

I cannot find the "work offline" checkbox on the Entourage menu nor can I find anything about an ldap server - please help - it's driving me nuts.

Thanks

What's wrong?? What type of account? (POP, IMAP or Exchange)

Work offline is in the menus.
For the LDAP settings, you need to go to Tools>Accounts.
From tehre you either edit the settings for your Exchange account if you
have one and you want the LDPA settings associated with it or to
Directory Services to create a new one.

Hi Corentin,

many thanks.

an Exchange Account. I found the offline button.

I do not know where to find the ldap settings nor did I have to set them before in Outlook. So I do not know where to start - of course without the correct ldap the whole lot won't verify.

Am setting up account from outside network. Am on a rackspace exchange server.

Hi Corentin,

Hi Simon,

before in Outlook. So I do not know where to start - of course without
the correct ldap the whole lot won't verify.

Well the settings should be auto-imported when you setup the Exchange
account (if the server provides them). If not, you wil have to ask the
admins...
