Help Sharing a DataBase

Hello. I currently work from an access database daily updating and reviewing
information. My manager would now like to view and have full access to the
database. It is only on my computer for now. We are on a shared network. Do I
need to set up a user group and save the database to the shared drive? Also
there is a possibility that we will both be in the database at the same time.
What is the best way to handle this situation. Thank for any help you might
have.

just take a look at the split up database wizard
tools/database utilities/database splitter

first create a share somewhere on the network
be it on a server or on your own computer
then split up the database and refer to that share for the backend

you can put the front where ever you'd like
and even give a copy of it to your boss
so he can set it where he finds it convenient
(the front being that part of the database witch contains all the forms
and reports and so on)

yes, access is kind of a multi user environment

just start up the wizard (after making a backup copy!!!)
and read everything that shows up in your screen
