Word 2000.

I have set up bullets as per your excellent article (How to control
bullets...) , and solved most of my previous problems. However, when I open
up a new Word document, it always starts with a bullet!

How do I fix this?

It seems as if bullet formatting has been applied to the blank paragraph in
your Normal template. See
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/apperrors/blankdocnotblank.htm.

Sadly, Shauna Kelly, who created the www.shaunakelly.com site, is no longer
