Help! Something has hijacked keys on my keyboard.

I'm not sure what happened but I must have somehow changed some settings.
When I hit the tab button, instead of tabbing forward within my document my
computer comes up with a list of windows that are open. When I hit delete, I
get a list of menu options to change password, switch users, etc.

Does anyone know what happened? Anyone know how to change it back? I use
the tab and delete kesy quite a bit. Thanks!

Are you on a laptop by chance? Did you maybe hit the Fn key?

I'm working on a laptop but I have it plugged into a USB hub so I can use the
normal peripherals (i.e. monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.) at my desk. I'm
sure you are on the right track. I hit the Fn key to try and turn it off but
it made the picture on my large monitor disapper. I had to hit it again to
export the image to my monitor. No doubt I've messed something up with
operator error. Any suggestions?

Read the manual that came with your laptop. I'd bet you hit some key combo
that changed your keys. Check to see if there isn't some sort of a light on,
like a Caps Lock indicator.

Thanks, JoAnn. I played around with it and was able to restore the function
of the "tab" and "delete" keys. I'm not sure what worked but everything is
working fine, now. I really appreciate your help.

Laptop keyboards can be tricky. Everything is so close together and some
keys aren't in the places we're used to with a regular keyboard.
