Help! - Task IDs no in sequence

For some reason some of my Task IDs are out of sequence e.g.

I want to reseuence them properly. Can this be done?

Right mouse click on the column header and change the sort.

That being said, remember that Task ID's are not un-changing and while
interesting to sort them, it doesn't really mean very much. If you want
to sort on an unchanging ID field, use Unique ID. More information on
these fields in Project's help file.
