Help! the 'Ctrl B' function doesn't work in my pc ...

I'm used to 'Ctrl B' for bolding items ... However this doesn't work in my pc
.... Wat should I do? Clicking the BOLD icon is too troublesome ...

Maybe somebody has allocated another function to CTRL/B like a shortcut key
to run a macro? Does anything happen when you use it? Is it just in Excel or
does it not work anywhere
