I'm having trouble with a db crashing and can't get anywhere with it.
Any help would be appreciated.
My computer has both A2000 and A2002 installed. DB is in A2000
format. Split design.
When running A2002 opening a specific report causes Access to crash.
When running A2000 the report opens fine.
Have tried decompiling and recompiling in both A2000 and A2002 - db
will do that fine, but crash behavior stays the same.
Have tried importing all the objects into a brand new A2000 format DB
and running - same behavior. Have tried importing all objects into a
brand new A2002 format DB - crashes.
Have tried SaveAsText and reimporting with LoadFromText. Works fine
if running A2000, crashes A2002.
Using a new DB created in A2000, did a LoadFromText for the subject
report. No other objects in the DB. Closed the DB and reopened with
A2002. Tried to open the report in design mode - crashed the DB.
I'm pulling my hair out over this - and I don't have that much to
spare... Any suggestions short of ritual sacrifices involving
chickens will be gratefully received.
