Hi,
I created my access database with the "Language for non-Unicode Programs"
set to Japanese in Regional and Language Options. Now it seems that the
access file can only be opened with the same language setting.
When the language is set to English(United States) it gives the following
error:
The expression On Open you entered as the event property setting produces
the following error: A problem occured while Microsoft Access was
communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX Control
*The expression may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a
user-defined function or [Event Procedure].
*There may have been an error evaluating the function, event, or macro
Is there anyway so the access file is compatible for all the language
setting. How can I rectify this problem.
Regards,
Chris
