Hi again.
Another problem I've encountered with Word is with two-line chapter heads. I
want to have the chapter number on top right, and the Chapter title text
below it.

If I break them into two separate styles, I can't get them to display
correctly in the TOC (they both show page numbers), but when I use a line
break, cross-refs include the line break.

Any suggestions?

This can be sticky. One approach I've used is to use two separate styles for
the chapter number and chapter title and include only the title in the TOC.
I apply the numbering to the TOC style instead. So say you use Heading 1 for
your chapter titles and a special Chapter Number style (which can be
autonumbered) for the chapter numbers. In the TOC, you format TOC 1 style to
have 1,2, 3, or Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3 numbering.
