help with a formula

I have many columns of Info. I would like to be able to look for zero values
in a col. say col. A and change the value in the equivalent cell in col.L to
zero as well. Is there a formula or a quick way to do this as there are many
rows of info.

Set filter to zero for column A
Enter zero in the first visible cell in column L
Copy this cell
Select all of column L to bottom of data (Do NOT paste yet)

For xl2007: Click on Find & Select (far right of Home ribbon)
Select Go to special
Select Visible cells only & close dialogue box
Paste

For earlier xl versions: Select Edit-> Goto->Special
Select Visible cells only & close dialogue box
Paste
