Help with Form

Hello,

I created a form for a survey in Words 2003. For short answer - e.g. phone
number, rates - I used a text box. For longer answers, I divided the page by
sections, and unprotected the ones that will contain the answer; in this
section I used a table (1 cell).

There are 2 issues:

1) Text Box: numbers of characters are limited, but how to disable the
"Enter" key to avoid creating blank lines.

2) Table/1 cell: how to disable the "tab" key so the user can't create a new
row?

Thank you in advance for your time, and assistance.

1. You can't. Instead, DO use a form field anyway (why not?) and place it in
a one-column, one-row table cells. Set the height of the cell to EXACTLY how
much space you want it to take up. Even if they keep typing, it won't
"break" your form.
2. Again, protect your entire document. There's no reason you can't have a
single text form field in a 6" x 2" table cell. It works just fine. And no
need to disable the tab key.
