Help with format/mark cell reference/dependers

I have changed version to excel 2003.

In the previous I could format/mark the referencecells by doubleclicking the formula, i.e if I had a formula with SUM(C10:C15) I double clicked on the formula in the cell and then I could format the cells ( the cells C10, C11…C15c). i.e colored it, lines etc

In the new version I cant do this and I cant find were to change it. Does anyones know how to do
