Help With Forms

Hi Everyone!!

Alright, I'm real new to Frontpage 2003, so don't assume much!! I'm a
teacher that runs a web site for my local teacher's union. I want to be able
to create forms and have them sent to various people after theyve been
competed and submitted via email. Now, I'm using a very large and popular
web hosting service, Lunar Pages, and they sent me to this scripting page,
http://nms-cgi.sourceforge.net/scripts.shtml and told me they didn't support
forms as it was a design issue. Needless to say, I didn't know what to do
with the stuff on the page. I need to learn how to make forms that work on
this hosting service and have them email to different people. Can someone
help me out?

Thanks,

Bill T

Just came here for the first time to ask my own question and know the answer
to yours.

Get another internet provider - one with a Windows 2000 server that supports
Front Page extensions.

I had the same problem myself.

My most recent web site www.reallaw.ca was done in a day and it works. Just
remember to rename your home page from default to something else - someone
else will know the proper naming nomenclenture.

Well, see, that's the thing. My provider does support front page extensions,
or so they say. And they are one of the largest and most highly rated out
there. But I keep getting the error message that they don't. I also think
they support the extensions because I installed them from the control panel
of the site.

What do you think?

I have been using www.crankithosting.net for more then 4 years and haven't
had a problem.

Their cost is lower then I have seen for most hosting.

Hey bill,
I had the same problem.
Are you uploading your webpage through Frontpage?
I was doing everything right and suddenly it started working.... so I really
don't know what happened. But I can give you the steps I used if you still
couldn't figure it out.

possible "exploitable script." I'd really like to now how to create a good
form. Any resources or tech support for this?

I would say....
go to the nearest bookstore and grab a frontpage tutorial or similar.

Logic Rules

Though many hosting services support FrontPage Extensions there is usually
an option to have your website use the extensions. This is probably included
in the site manager options page. Go to that page and make sure that
FrontPage Extensions are selected for use with your web site.
