Help with FP 2003 Guestbook

I have added a Guestbook to my site using FP 2003. It works but (1) It
seems to add entries at the bottom of the log so a viewer has to scroll
miles to get to most recent entries? And, (2) I have entries from a prior
log I want to include in order but do not know how to do it and get them in
the right order. (3) How can the Guest add their email address and have it
show as an email hyperlink?

Also, as I look now - I can't even find the Guestbook add in or any info in
the help file!!!???

Basically what you see is what you get, however under the Guest book form properties you can set the
display order, however this will only apply to new post made after the change.

In order to add prior content, you will have to enter as a user would.

To make the email address a hyperlink, the user would have to enter it as:
mailto:[email protected]

or you have to replace the field with a scrolling text box instead of a single line text box.

My experience with the guest book is that once it starts adding to the
bottom, you will have problems fixing.
You almost have to re-rcreate it then set it to store from top to bottom
before you begin using.

You can, however, put your previous data into the new one but it is tricky.
If you goof up, it will again load everything to the bottom.

Also, make sure you set your local copy to not published or you will wipe
out anything people have written. You will have to do this manually.
