Help with MAC 2004 Excel

W

wayne.veillon

In another life I was a PC Excel user. Now I use a MAC.
When you wanted to type a leteral in a cell, I beleive it was something
like this,
="bulb flats (r)".
On the MAC, I can't get it to work with the same results.
I am trying to type as a literal the following; bulb flats (r).
But the result is bulb @.
I appreciate any help.

Hi,

Actually, I'm surprised you could type it in Excel for Windows.

On both platforms, to change the autocorrect behavior use Tools >
AutoCorrect. Delete the entry for (r).
