I have setup several message rules in Outlook 2003 to filter my e-mail. The
problem that I am having is that it is not working the way I would expect it
to based on the rule that is setup. I receive e-mail from several mailing
lists so rather than have all the mail from the lists go to the inbox, I
have message rules setup to have the messages go to subfolders. Here is
where the problem is. Messages from one particular group seem to copy
themselves occassionally to the deleted items folder. Here is an example of
how the rule is setup. "Check message after it arrives with test in the
subject and on this machine only, move it to the test folder and stop
processing more rules. The test message will go to the test folder as it
should, but then it will also copy itself to the deleted items folder. In
the case of the actual rules I have setup, the one that is not working
correctly is the third rule in the list. Every rule is setup the same and
each ends with a 'stop processing more rules.' How can I get the messages to
go to the proper folders without having them get copied to the deleted items
folder?
