help with Microsoft 2003 set up

I am installing office 2003 to a new computer. I have the disk and the
product key but keep getting the following error:

Waiting for cabinets to be cached to local installation source

file: E2561412.cab

Then installation just stops. Please help1 I have no idea what to do

Is this a retail version of Office or did this come preinstalled on another computer?

Have you tried copying the CD to your hard drive and installing from there?
