Help with MS Word...it's locked!

I just purchased a brand new computer last week with a free "60 day
trial" of MS Office. I have been using it for all of my school work.
Normally I just exited the little screen that asked me for my product
code. Today I accidently clicked "continue" (normally I clicked "close")
without entering the code. Now all of my MS Word documents are locked!!
HELP!! What do I do??? Is there anyway to unlock it and enter my code so
I can take advantage of the 60 day trial....I've been using it for just
over a week, NOT 2 months!!
