Please help. My mother has an old computer that is about
10-20 years old that she uses to run a delivery business.
she can edit customer lists and invoices on this old
system using codes instead of having to enter the
customers full title eg:if microsoft was one of her
customers she can enter micro to show details about that
company such as How much they owe. What I need to know is
can I do the same with msaccess and how I go about doing
it. When I create a new Table it comes up with customerID
and Uses Autonumber starting from 1 but what I really
need is to be able to alphabetise the codes instead of
having a number order.However if I need to imput the
customer list by number can I retrieve that info easily
and how can I do that?
