Help with Multiple worksheet formulations

I need to find the correct formulation for the following:
In worksheet 1: I have several colums-

Type Level Status
A 1 M
D 3 D
D 2 D
C 1 S
B 2 M
B 2 M
D 3 S
C 1 S
C 3 S
A 2 D
A 1 S
B 1 M
C 3 M

In a second worksheet I need to take information from
Worksheet 1 and formulate the following

A B C D = Type
Level
1 #A's #of B's #of C's #of D's
2
3

Status
D #A's #of B's #of C's #of D's
M
S

Can anyone help?

Select data (incl headers) and do Data / Pivot table and Chart report, hit next,
next, finish

Drag Level to left where it says ROW, Type to top where it says COLUMN, and then
Status into the Data Area. For a more detailed report, also drag Status into
the ROW fields just to the right of the Level field and just to the left of the
DATA area
