Help with tabs

This is an elementary question I'm sure but it's making me crazy. I hit
something so now my tab button is working the same. Used to be that I would
do a bullet point, then tab on the next line and it would go to the next
bullet forward. Now it spaces over but leaves the same bullet point as the
line above. Also, I used to be able to Shift-Tab to make it go back a tab.
Now it won't do that, it goes forward. Any idea how to fix this?

It probably is an elementary question but it doesn't sound like it has
anything to do with Microsoft Access, the database application, whihc is
what this newsgroup is for. You might try another group that specializes in
the application you are having trouble with (I'm guessing it might be
Microsoft Word?).
