Help with To-Do Taskbar in Outlook 2007

I want the task section of the To_Do Bar to only show tasks that are due on
the current day. I have a new computer and on my previous machine I set it
up properly using instructions from a user on one of the MS websites but
can't seem to find it again. If you can help or point me back to the tip, I
would be in your debt.

Right click on the header of the task section/TaskPad, choose Custom and
click Filter. Adjust the filter(s) to your liking

Vince, that may do it. I recall the original document had me do a little
more. I'll see what comes up tomorrow. I appreciate your time and help...

Yes, Judy thanks for pointing that out. Let me explain. I began using the
calendar as my default view with Outlook 2003. I configured it so that only
tasks due on the current day and those that had yet to be completed from
previous days were revealed in the view. I would drop emails into my task
folder for future days using a coded system of High Priority (My must dos),
Medium Priority (Could Dos) and Low Priority (designating something that
someone owed me). This simple little change made huge improvements to my
productivity. Then, alon comes Outlook 2007 and now I don't know how to set
it up to do the same thing. As I said I found a document from someone that
got me pretty close. I hope this better helps explain my issue.

With 2007 the best you'll do is to get pretty close. It's not as flexible
in its configuration as the TaskPad was in older versions.

Judy, so far, I think that is a small price to pay and the fix is pretty
close to what I need.
