Help! Word 2011 cannot launch.

I have a Microsoft Word 2011, when I was working on a document, suddenly itbecame all asterisks, then blank, then all became numbers. I brought my laptop to Apple Genius Bar yesterday but they couldn't fix it. Now, it doesn't work completely, I can't open the Word application. What can I do to fix this problem?

Try creating another account on your machine. Does Word work from that
account? Can you open the document? It may be toast and you'll have to
toss it.

Alternately, reinstall Word.
