HELP!!!

P

Pam

I've been working on one of my websites from 'localhost' on my hard drive
.... all of the sudden fp kinda hung up on me and so I cancelled out,
rebooted and went back to fp - the website I needed was NOT THERE! so..ok, I
go to inetpub/wwwroot - pull up the website - and publish to localhost
again.... everything looks fine .. but when I click on PUBLISH Web to the
internet - it just hangs at the publish web window - nothing comes up in the
2 window panes - for like forever - it just hangs.... so then I tried to
open the site live - it asked for the username/password and then after
accepting that...just sits there..hangs and hangs and finally crashes...

I've run the repair and detect...rebooted.... any other ideas????

thanks
Pam

If you are working under "localhost", you are already working with the files
located at c:\inetpub\wwwroot\

There is no need to publish from there to localhost.
