Hi,

I am using FP 98 and had my hard dics crash.

I an trying to remember how to open my website up to edit it without
re-publishing it. There are photos that have to be changed so that they
appear after publishing.

Thanks for any help.

Rick,

If you open the website on the Internet using FP98, then anything you do
is consider editing. If you were able to open your pages that you
recover from the crash and make edits, before publishing, you can tell
FP98 which page you want to publish and which pages you do not want to
publish. This should keep you from overwriting something on the website
that is more current than what you have on the computer. Another
approach is to open up the website and make a copy of everything you
have on the internet onto your harddrive before making any editing.
After that, open up the folder you copied onto your harddrive and edit
using that. This will insure that you are editing the latest copy.
