HELP!

I thought I was relatively familiar with Word but recently because of
my job with the military I have made change to the format / bullets in
Word and can't for the life of me figure out how to get things back to
normal.

for instance, I will start writing with bullets and at the first enter
- where a new bullets drops into the next new line of text - i can no
longer <TAB> both the bullet and the text to the factory indent.

how do I get it back to operating like the second example???

On the AutoFormat As You Type tab of the AutoCorrect Options dialog box,
make sure that "Set left and first indent with tabs and backspaces" is
selected.

To display the dialog box: In the Word Options dialog box, click
AutoCorrect Options in the Proofing category (applies to Word 2007 and
2010).
