When i firs installed vista (about 3 days ago) everything worked fine i
rebooted after updating and the edge of the windows were not transparent and
alt-tab did not show the live preview (instead it showed only the old
alt-tab) and the "switch between windows" does not work it shows the alt-tab
instead

The Microsoft webpage has misled you (as it has many others). The first
alphabetical newsgroup is this one, for the database software Microsoft
Access. You need to scroll down and repost your question in a newsgroup
supporting Vista.
