Thanks for your help in advance. I am trying to figure out a way that
inside the same spreadsheet you can have different column width sizes.

Is there a way to divide the spreadsheet to allow this to happen?

you can set the colin width for any individual or group of columns b
highlighting them and then selecting from the menus

Format
Column
Width

and then setting the width of the column by the number entered.

A further option open to you if you want to change a column width lowe
down the sheet is to merge the column with other columns - this ca
effectively merge two or more columns into one column giving you
wider column
done by

Format
Cells
Allignment
Merge

hope this is some help

ldstone, you can have different column widths in the sheet, A can be
different that B, but you can't have column A different widths, width is for
the whole column, you could merge cells but that causes problems with
sorting and other things
