Helpwith getting addresses from old .pst file

x

Whe I installed Outlook 2002 - I only saved or backed up my old Outlook.pst
file from OUTLOOK 2000.

So I don't have a PAB file.

So now although I have a list of addresses in CONTACTS., when I add on the
old .pst file, I can't get a list of contacts from the TO: dialog.

If I use a new OUTLOOK.pst file then you can't just copy the CONTACTS
folder across.
Dragging them a cross is too laborious.

I have noticed th Outlook address book setting and personal address books
but don't how to best use them bearing in mind that i only have the old
..pst file and nothing else.

Thanks in advance

Outlook 2000 didn't use it, so no big deal. It was there only for
compatibility with earlier versions.

Have you installed the Outlook Address Book service and selected the option
to have your Contacts folder appear as an Address Book?

You can select them all and drag them all at one time.
