hello NG,

i have got an worddocument from my professor with questions and answers.
some of the answerts are "hidden", i suppose by mistake. as soon as i turn
on the "show/hide"-button (that mirrored P-symbol), i can see the hidden
answers, but all of them are underlined by ".........". that means, when i
copy/paste these cells to my document, they are hidden, too.

how can i format that correctly that they are shown always?

thanx,
tom.

Professor's not very smart is he? Or, are you sure he had not provided some
"trick" answers to catch out the smarties in the class.

When you've sorted that out, select the answer and then from the Format
menu, select Font and uncheck the "Hidden" box.

I'd just like to emphasize that CTRL+SPACEBAR really removes *all*
direct font formatting. In other words, formatting such as font name,
font size, italic, bold, and underline, will be lost together with the
hidden attribute, if it has been added manually (without paragraph
styles).

In other words, if you don't want to risk losing anything useful, use
Doug's method to clear the hidden attribute in the Format>Font dialog
box.

Note that whenever you try something and find that it that has an
undesired side effect, you can use the Undo button on the Standard
toolbar.
