Hidden Font?

Hi, in my most recent publication I had tried a new font 'Myriad Pro' then
removed it and chose another. When I check my publication over for Commercial
Printing this Font is shown as not being able to Embed amongst my other
embedded fonts. I've looked through the 24 pages but cannot see where this
font is still being used. Any idea's on a way to track it's where abouts in
my publication would be appreciated. Thanks.

Good morning folks, would anyone of you have an idea on this. I'd like to
create the PDF later today if possible. Thanks gang.

Don't know what to tell you. Have you tried printing to a PDF printer? I know
Myriad Pro is an Adobe font. Maybe that will tell you something.

Does the Load Fonts dialogue come up when you open your publication?

Try this, move the Myriad Pro out of the font folder. Open the publication, if
the Load Fonts dialogue appears, click Font substitution and substitute the
Myriad font for whatever font you chose.

Hi Mary, yes the load font dialogue does open. Here is where it gets odd.
Myriad Pro is not listed there while it resides in my font folder. All of my
other fonts being used are listed and they embed fine. The only time I see
Myriad Pro listed is when I run the commercial printer font check. That is
when I see it and states that 'may not embed'. I also see it in the font
dialogue when opening the .pub file 'if' I remove it from the font folder.

So I chose to 'permanently' replace 'Myriad Pro' with 'Trubechet MS' which I
was already using in a few areas of my publication and the warning is gone
from both Commercial Print check and when the font dialogue loads at startup.
I see no problems with the PDF file but it just bothers me that somewhere in
my .pub file there is a call to load 'Myriad Pro'. Thanks Mary.

Phil.
