I was very suprised when realized that there are lots of hidden objects for
use in powerpoint VBA. does anybody know is it although possible to use
them.
for example, in 2003 it was possible to refere to diagram in slide, but now
it is not possible? How to solve the problem?

thanks for any suggestion.

Some objects are hidden but accessible; others are hidden because they're not
usable; for example, there are quite a few chart-related objects, but the top
level object through which you'd access them has not been exposed, so you can't
use them.

Or to use your example, PowerPoint 2007 no longer has the diagram feature. It
uses the new SmartArt instead. If you open a presentation that includes a
diagram and doubleclick the diagram in an attempt to edit it, you're offered
the choice of converting it to SmartArt or shapes. The option of editing it
*as* a diagram no longer exists. Given that, it makes sense that the option is
no longer exposed in VBA either.
