I've got a problem that I just can't solve. I'm using
WinXP, Outlook2002, Zonealarm, and McAfee. I've already
scanned (and rescanned) the whole pc with Microsft, Norton
and Mcafee for MyDoom, it's clean. Here is what is
happening...
I have a primary e-mail which is pop3 only (no smtp), so
that is the one that has the rights to go through the
firewall on smtp (even though it goes nowhere). I have
multiple secondary e-mails which have both pop3 and smtp
and they need explicit permission from the user of the
firewall before any smtp sends. Everytime I send/receive,
even if my outbox is empty, there is an attempted send from
my primary e-mail. This, of course, fails, and there is no
history of it anywhere, not in the outbox, sent items,
logs, anywhere.
Is there a registry key I need to look at?
