Hello
Recently installed Office Ultimate 2007 On my Vista 64b system i had no
problems with using gmail and windows mail before since the update outlook
will not send the messages in the outbox get error: Send test e-mail
message: An unkown error occured, error code 0x800ccc81
These are my settings
Account Type: POP3
Incoming mail server: pop.gmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com
Log On using secure password Authentication : Not checked
My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: Checked
Use same settings as my incoming mail server: Checked
Incoming server (POP3): 995
This server requires an encrypted connection (ssl): Checked
Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
Use the following type of encypted connection: TLS selected
These are the same setting i have on another computer for the same e-mail
acct and i have no problems sending or reciveing with that computer. I
receive messages just fine, it just wont send them they stay in the outbox.
Any help would be greatly apprecitated thank you.
