Hidden task from timesheet. But, when published the project. The task reappeared

Hi

A project manager has asked the project server admin to hide one of the
tasks of a schedule from the resource timesheets.

The PM subsequently added new tasks to the project for different resources
and published it.

When he published the project schedule, the resources whose tasks were
hidden, now able to see those tasks and account their hours.

How to make it permanent that tasks once hidden from resources were not
visible again.

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
