hidden tasks

When I open a particular file, many of the summary tasks that were not rolled
up on save are now rolled up. The plus sign is still a minus sign however,
falsely indicating that all detail tasks are visible. If I click on the
minus sign to toggle to a plus and then toggle back to a minus, the detail
taks are now visible.

Also, clicking on show all hidden tasks does not reveal these tasks.

How do I prevent the roll-up of these tasks at each file save so that the
condition of the view is maintained?

Do you have a filter applied? If so, you would get thios behavior.

Yes, There was a filter on duration which was causing the issue. Thanks very
