Hidden text in Cross Reference

Our group extensively uses cross-referencing of text, and the text that is cross referencing includes hidden text. In the past, when we have physically created the cross-reference to the text, the hidden text would be included in the cross-reference. Today, across the board in our group, any cross-reference made does NOT include the hidden text.

Hi Dave,

The cross-reference will pick up the formatting of the cross-referenced
text.
First you need to remove the hidden formatting from the REF fields.
And so it won't reappear when you update fields, add " \* CHARFORMAT" at the
end of the fields.
