Hide a section based on a choice group selection

How can I hide a section on a view, based on the choice of a choice
selection on another view?

One one of my views, the user can choose between 3 choice sections
within the choice group. Two of those choice sections have no fields
in them, just static text, the third choice has a text input field to
provide a value.

If the user selects one of the static text choice sections, I need to
hide a section bound to a completely different field on another view.
How can I do this? I assume I would use conditional formatting, but
I'm not sure how to specify which choice section I want to verify was
chosen. How do I capture the selection that was made in the choice
group?

I was able to resolve this myself..

In the section I need to potentially hide, I set the conditional
formatting to hide the control if the desired choice section is
present.
