Hide and unhide text or images

I have a presentation outlining various product ideas for
a customer. I wanted to have a brief description and a
picture for each product. However I wanted to keep the
presentation limited to a small number of pages. Is there
a way to have the user click a button on the slide that
will hide and unhide the picture or description of the
product. any help is greatly appreciated as always.

In PowerPoint 2002 and 2003, you can use triggers to animate objects.
This should do just what you want. In earlier versions, you can use a
simple VBA macro. Check out example 6.6 on my web site for a VBA example
that hides and shows objects:
