hide links only for specific tasks?

Does anybody know if there is a way to selectively hide predecesso
links for specific tasks (I mean the arrows between two tasks in a Gann
view).

I have one or two milestones that have a birds nest worth o
predecessors, but seeing those links contributes very little to m
understanding of the situation, and it clutters things unnecessarily.
The other tasks, on the other hand, have some very important (and few
predecessors that I would like to see, so I need a system that onl
removes viewing predecessor links for tasks I deem a burden to se
visually.

Anybody got an idea?

Many thanks

No, but you could create and apply a Filter that does not display
milestones. Links where one or both tasks are missing do not display.

Sorry, it is an all or nothing situation. Here's what we do...
A "Project Complete" milestone normally has dozens of tasks leading to it,
most of which are meaningless; only a few tasks are linked to the project
complete milestone and have teeth in them.

We create a new finish milestone. I literally call it "Garbage Collection."
I link all the unimportant activities to "Garbage Collection"... stuff like
"Submit Monthly Activity Report" and the like gets linked there. Then, I
have exactly one successor on Garbage Collection and that is the Project
Complete milestone.

Now, all your clutter goes to Garbage Collection while only the "important"
drivers hook to the project complete milestone directly. This way, I only
have one milestone to ignore.
