Hide Meeting Organizer Field?

Is there any way to modify settings in Outlook that would allow me to
hide\remove the meeting organizer fields from displayed appointments
in the calendar?

In what view? With which Outlook version?

Which view are you using? You can remove it from any table view (i.e., By
category).

I tried going into "Customize View: Outlook Data Files" and then into
"Fields." The only fields I'm currently showing are: attachment, subject,
location, start, end, recurrence patern, categories. I can't see a way to get
rid of "creator." Thanks!!

Have you tried a table view like Diane suggested?

It's not called specifically "table view," but it shows all of the fields in
a table format. So if I'm in the right place, I still cannot see where it
allows me to remove the organizer. Thanks again!

FYI- You can NOT remove or change the text of the organizer in the table views (such as view by Category). Also, to view a field that doesn't currently show, you can right click on the currently shown fields and pick "Field Chooser" and then add Organizer there. But what Tina is probably asking for (and what I want as well) is a way to delete the data from the Organizer name so it doesn't show anymore for that item.

When I try to print out my calender, the organizer's name is so long on my government computers it takes up 3 lines, almost the entire calender box, and looks horrible. But I cannot hide it without making the entire appointment private (which hides the appointment title as well). But Outlook (2010 in my case) will not allow us to edit the Organizer field, nor to hide it when printing. Any help anyone?

No, sorry, no help - you can't remove the organizer. However, the admin
might be able to remove it from your mailbox.

See
http://www.slipstick.com/exchange/meeting-organizers-name-appears-in-subject-line/
- i haVE not tried it on a mailbox, but it should work.
