A Form created in accdb files (Access 2007) look like a Tab Page and have the
form Name in the Tab Bar. Is there anyway of hiding this Tab Bar?

Other than easier integration with SharePoint, any of the other features are
able to be worked around in the mdb format. Unless you need the features
available in Access 2007, you might be better off using the mdb format.

There are two options for displaying forms in Access 2007.

One is the "tabbed document" look, which I also find icky for most things.

The other look, thank heavens, is the familiar "Overlapping WIndows" , which
you can select on a database by database basis. Unfortunately, I've not yet
found a way to set this as the global default. It seems MS intends for us
all to be "tabbers" from here on out.

Oops, early [Enter Key] behavior.

You CAN turn off the tab on tabbed documents, but that seems to have
undesirable side effects, in my experience. I.e. It seems to remove the
ability to close the tabbed document. At least, in the VERY limited number
of instances where I've tried, that has been the case.

Hello, I am having the opposite prob as you all. I want the "Tabbed
Documents" look for all of my Access files. Anyone know of a way for me to
set that as my default so I don't have to change my setting with each new
database opened?

It should be the default for new databases.
