Hiding copied formula

When I am creating a spreadsheet and say I have the sum of A1 + B1 in cell
C1. If I copy this formula down another 10 rows. Can I hide the contents of
C2,3,4 etc as a blank cell until the data is entered into A2 and B2 etc.

If you mean you dont want a zero to show try
=IF(A1+B1<>0,A1+B1,"")

One way ; use a conditional formatting formula such as

=COUNT(A1:B1)<2

, then set the format as white font.
