Hiding Deferred Tasks in Outlook Today

In Outlook Today, is there a way hide tasks that have been
assigned "deferred" status when using MS Outlook 2000?

I have posted this question on MS Outlook groups at 5 times since
mid-summer, but never gotten a response. Could someone help me?

Is the question confusing or stated in a way that is hard to answer?
Please let me know -- I'd be glad to rephrase it or explain further
