Hiding Movies in PPT 2003

[UEUC2]

I inserted a movie on a slide and it ran just fine until I turned on Hide
movie while not playing. They it doesn't run at all. Anyone know why?

To be honest, that is a feature I have never used.... But if your goal is to
not see the movie box until it plays try giving it an entrance animation
(eg. FADE IN and the PLAY animation set to AFTER PREVIOUS) and then you can
also give it an exit animation (FADE OUT set to AFTER PREVIOUS).
