Hiding Predecessor column in MSP

Is there any way that we can hide columns in MSP, especially Predecessors
column so that no one can edit?

To Hide, Right click the column and Just select Hide.
To stop it from being edited, I doubt that is possible. But who knows,
I may be wrong.

Omar

Girija,

Omar's answer is correct but it will only hide the column in the
current session of Project Pro. To hide it from all Project Pro users,
you need to open the Enterpise Global, hide the column from any views
that you want it to disappear from and save the Enterprise Global.

However, any project manager can make the column appear again in his/
her current MS Project session and edit it. I don't see how a project
manager could work a schedule without editing dependencies, by the way.

Also, hiding the column doesn't stop the Project Manager from edititing it by
double clicking on the task which will allow editing of the predecessors, or
adding in new predecessors on the gannt chart.
