Hiding rows in a sort-of drop down

I have been asked to build a spreadsheet in which a list needs to b
hidden. The best way to explain what I'm trying to do is when you g
through windows explorer and you see a folder or hard drive wit
additional subfolders you have the plus sign in order to extend what i
in the folder/drive. I need to do that with a list for titles an
subtitles in an excel spreadsheet, can anyone help me
