Hiding rows: meaning of dark line?

M

Monica

I have a spreadsheet that, after saving as an Excel
spreadsheet, is saved as an HTML file to be viewed in an
Outlook folder.

I have a number of rows that are hidden; there is a dark
line in the spreadsheet that appears where the hidden rows
are. When I view the HTML file in Outlook, nothing
appears after where that dark line is.

In other spreadsheets, including the one on which this
spreadsheet is based, the hidden rows don't have the black
line, and the rows after the hidden section are viewable
in Outlook.

What is the dark separator line telling me about my hidden
rows?

I've never seen this dark line but I doubt it's telling you anything. Since
it appears in the HTML file only you could look in the file with a text
editor are presumably get rid of it (if you're familiar with HTML or know
someone who is).

I have seen this before - it happened to me when I was playing aroun
with hiding rows etc.

To make it worse, I didn't appear on the print-preview but as you ca
imaging popped out of the printer.

I zoomed into the original spreadsheet (400%) and actually found
"line" drawn on the spreadsheet (ie from the drawing tool bar o
something)

It wasnt a border but an actual line.

Not a great answer but I know !
